sorry for those who wanna read Chinese, but I just not in the mood to do it in Chinese, besides....I want to have more practice on my English writing which I haven't done so for so long~
well, today might be bad, but got home with a letter which makes me happy
the reason I said today is bad is because.....
As some of you might know, my house is up north in Markham
i commute - by bus => RT => subway - to work in weekdays
that's what I did for today, as usual, but....
what surprised me was the bus was fully packed at the moment I got on!!!
It's usually have at least a few empty seats available each time I got on,
so I don't have to stand for the whole 30 (or 40) min trip.
but unfortunately, this was not the case!
I was lucky enough to grab a seat @ 14th ave though~
My employer's house is still under construction, but this time, outside for pipe lines and stuff....
After I got to work today, the construction worker dug a ditch (which pretty much around my height) in front of the entrance of the house....
I was standing there and thinking, "okay, how am I suppose to get in there......."
lucky enough, they helped me to get in: climb down the ditch, climb up the ladder, and, hooray!! I got in!!
but another thing is.......I DIDN'T BRING MY LUNCH TO WORK TODAY!!!!
so, around lunch time, I went through all obstacles again just to fill up my stomach.
after work, I had already prepared to go through everything again, but this time, the guys removed the ladder!!!!
good enough that they made me a bridge with thin wood board (with two guys holding on it for me to exit :P).
hopefully they can finish everything on the weekend (but.....they might not be working in weekend though.)
I really don't want to go through it again for next week!
The most amazing thing is.....I FINALLY RECEIVED MY NEW TD REBATE REWARDS VISA!!!!!!
It took me a month to get it!
I was so sad that when I first heard from the Kennedy & Hwy 7 branch front desk lady regarding all the problems...
First, I went to that branch on Aug 22nd because my GREEN VISA will expire on Sept., so I just want to switch to REBATE REWARDS VISA
the lady first told me that "you'll probably receive it within a week", and I was happy to hear that.
A WEEK LATER, I didn't receive a phone call or anything that telling me to pick it up at branch (because I preferred it to mail to branch at the time), so I sent her an e-mail asking about it.
I got a response on the BEGINNING OF SEPT (the end of 1st week) , the response I received was, "the visa department informed me that there was a problem to do the transfer, because the card is not activated, please call xxxxx to activate the card. once the card is activated, the rebate card will send to branch."
I was like, WTF, I DIDN'T even RECEIVE the renewal card, HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO ACTIVATE THE CARD!!!
so I sent her another e-mail to explain the matter and said that I'll go over to the branch on tuesday to do that with her, however, fair enough, I was told that she won't be in on tuesday, but she'll ask another lady to activate the card (which I didn't receive) for me.
so I waited, and waited......ANOTHER WEEK IS GONE.....AND I received the renewed GREEN VISA, which I'm not expecting it
(you know what, THEY ACTUALLY MAILED IT OUT ON SEPT 9TH, which is probably sitting in the mail box since 11th and I didn't picked it out until the end of the week)
HOWEVER, there is no sign of the new card that I was expecting.....
sent the lady another e-mail at the BEGINNING OF THE FOLLOWING WEEK regarding the matter, which I asked her to follow up on the issue, and got the response by THE END OF THE SAME WEEK saying the visa department is doing the transfer, and they should have the card "this week".
okay.....I wasn't hoping for it since I checked the voice mail EVERYDAY and there isn't any call to ask me pick up the new visa...
BUT, I RECEIVED IT TODAY!!! BY MAIL!!!! AT MY HOUSE!!!!
OMG!!! TOOK ME A MONTH TO GET A NEW CARD!!!
